Title: I hit rock bottom...
Post by: Jasriella on September 27, 2015, 03:50:59 AM
A couple weeks ago after I got done with my annual training (army national guard) I lost my job, my car, and my apartment. I'm now living in a spare room of one of my squad mates but I have no Jo and no means of transportation, and with winter fast approaching riding a bike everywhere wont be an option.

I've been in a very dark place, climbing back into the bottle to the point in making myself sick again.

I have one hope coming up that might get me back into school and get my welding certifications again, but it's this time in between when there's nothing I can do (or it just feels that way). Three places I applied at nearby don't want to hire me until I start school and can give a more accurate timeframe of hours ill be available to work. Besides that there's still the lack in transportation.

The only thing I can say is to stay away from the bottle because it will drag you deeper into depression because its a depressant that has no solutions to offer you. It keeps you where it wants you, in exactly the same place.

I ran out anyway. I just don't know what to do. School will definitely help but still without a vehicle and job things are just slumping worse right now. My phone just got shut off so this makes it twice as hard to get a job beings there's no house phone.

I'm so sorry to hear your struggles. I know it can get real difficult. Especially when trying to get jobs in between with having military obligations as well as a gap between school.
In my opinion in trying to get a job the quickest way possible would be to not tell them of military status, or very very little of it if you put it in application, as well as resume or so. And elect to not tell them of your endeavors with school until you do have a foot in with the company and at least a week in.
School will definitely help, but then again it just depends on how and here you want to go with a proper mindset to get everything going.
I hope you find a better solution to the challenges you are facing right now, because in all honesty you can and will be able to overcome this.

:C  ugh, so awful. I hate not having things to do.... do you think cleaning would make you feel better?  I find that reorganizing, purging trash/old stuff I don't need, and generally making things neat and clean can help calm me.  Keeping to a schedule, even though you may not have obligations can help a lot too!  Take care of yourself and do what you can!!
