Hey Girls,
I have been on the schedule for almost a year now with Bowers.. I called and begged to get in sooner if they have any consultations.
They have over a two year wait now...so I should be happy with the current date..
I am a cash upfront payer too and thought that would help get the date moved up.. no luck there..
Amazed at how many of us are getting the surgery.. and to think at 10 I thought I was the only kid in the world that felt the way I did..
I called McGinn and earliest I can get a consult is April..
So, I tell myself to relax..but its the ultimate goal...worked so hard to get there.

Hello Dodie, why wait Cash Patients have options!
Hello Anne here, back from the Bad Girl's Dormitory. This past February I was given an August of 2016 date for SRS with Dr. Bowers. That's too far out in my book.
So looked into the two Beverly Hills options and settled on Dr. Alexander Sinclair. No wait list at the time (May 2015) but I hear that is changing fast!
I was going to pay cash but he takes credit cards! So I put it on my American Express Card. Talk about Rewards Points! Surgery was also a few thousand less than other SRS surgeons in the Western U.S.
Sinclair only does one SRS a day......big bonus! Was given the green-light for sexual intercourse at 8 week. Results are very good and no visible scars other than a couple made to tighten up the whole area.
Transsexualism really got the best of me so getting SRS ASAP was critical. Now I am finding it was an excellent business move. My Hollywood colleagues are happy it's over and I can get back to business.
I still have a surgery date with Dr.Bowers but doubt I'll make that date ??? My plan is to gift the $1,000 deposit paid to hold SRS date.
Thank you,
Anne

There is a picture of a result on his webpage.
Would you say it comes close ?
Btw not all people like the rim look... so if labia would be a bit more generous some people might like it also...
Could you tell about depth and feelings ?

Quote from: Laura_7 on October 01, 2015, 12:41:41 PMHello, I don't want to hijack this tread. Dr. Bowers is an excellent choice. But in my opinion the long waiting time is harmful to some in the community. There are 'zero wait' options for those with cash or credit card.

SRS Dr. Sinclair - 4 months post-op
Depth: Only use Orange (big) Dilator and it goes in far enough to reach top dot 6.5 (inch's?). I dilate once a day.
Feeling: OK I guess. Nothing numb or painful. Feels good sticking dilator in vagina. The pressure as it goes in impacts the clitoris and has a 'wow' feeling throughout my body. Vaginal intercourse should prove to be very pleasurable. No orgasm yet but not really trying.
I very much dislike the picture posted om his site. My results do not look like picture. The 'love tunnel' is not visible from any angle or leg position! I would say they looks more like results you see on Dr. McGinn's website minus the long scars.
It does come down to how badly one desires SRS ASAP. Very happy to be 132 days post-op on the verge of experiencing sexual intercourse than waiting another 12 months for SRS with Dr. Bowers.
Oh and I was given the OK for sex at 8 weeks! But waiting a little longer I am sure is beneficial towards the first time experience.
Happy for you Dodie!
Thank you,
Anne

It should be equally pleasurable :)

Hey Girl thanks for the info. You must have fast tracked like me.. I am 21 months or so on HRT.. and so ready for that next step.. I will PM you about your Dr. I will most likely stick with Bowers but would like to have a January date for the surgery for personal reasons.
Love all you girls
Keri
