Yes, are they still around? They were big in the 80's.

sure, Jello Biafra is still around, although the Dead Kennedys are, well, dead.
a while back he ran for Governor of California ... came 3rd, with brilliant policies like "All businessmen must wear clown suits".
the DK's music was brilliant, and offended many people who needed offending.
he considered running for President for the Greens, but i don't think they were absurdist enough ... pity, you got Alfred E. Neuman instead.

I used to listen to DK in highschool hahaha... Jello Biafra's voice.... man noone can beat that :)

everyone rembmers the clown suits one, he also propsed very intelligent policies like giving old buildings to homeless people

They have a song on one of the Guitar Hero games, but other than that, I haven't heard much about them.
