Welcome to Susan's Place Taylor. It's nice that you are helping your sister because this is something that is very hard to do. Family support is very important because often a person transitioning has few people to talk to when they are dealing with the many problems we face. I was transsexual and had my surgery in 1982 you may ask any questions of me and I will not be offended as I have become very comfortable with myself. Also feel free to look around on the site as we try to keep it as kid friendly as possible. If you post to a thread, anyone who has posted to that thread will be notified of the post and will return to the thread to view the post. If you want to use this feature, when you want to check for new replies just go to the upper left hand corner of the screen and click on "Show new replies to your post" and it will show you anything that is still pending.
We issue to all new members the following links so you will best be able to use the web site.

Hello everyone , my names Taylor I'm on this web page because my sister recently told me about how she feels & who she feels she is , so I added this page not only for her support but everyone else's as well I'd like to learn about different sexual preferences , I think I'm wording this right , if I happen not to be please excuse me , I'm new to all of this . I am 20 years old and I like both female & male . but I'm more towards females . but I believe love has no gender .

Hello and welcome :)
Here are a few resources that might help understand :

I also like the twin comparison... they will be like their male/female twin, with still the same sense of humour...
*hugs*

I understand what you are saying Taylor. I took years asking questions and this is all very new to you. Take your time and think about it. When you are ready, post to this thread and I will be back with the others. I spent the time from age 13 to age 30 learning about myself and others. I thought I was done but I found this site in may and there is a bunch more I am learning. You don't need to know all that to help your sister and you are already doing the most important thing you can do.

Welcome Taylor!
You'll find that someone here somewhere has had similar thoughts and questions, don't be afraid to ask. ive found that everyone is very supportive and helpful no matter what your situation is.
