Hello
My name is Bay. I'm a transwoman who's 34. I've been on HRT for almost 5 months. Life is really good at the moment, I feel so grateful to finally be living as my true self. Obviously I have a long way to go but things are getting better all the time :) I've done 52 hours of electrolysis (probably need another 100 hours) and I've changed my name and gender on a lot of my documents already, my new passport should be in the mail soon!
I guess I'm interested in finding out about GRS in Australia (I'm thinking about Dr. Andrew Ives) and and FFS in Australia and just meeting some nice people.
Bay xxx

Dear Bay;
Welcome to Susan's place.
I am fairly new on here but so far I have found it a very interesting site. There's lots of information on here that I feel you'll find useful even in Australia.
There also seems to be many nice people here as well and I think you can safely ask any question and someone will be able to help as a lot of us have common, yet unique experiences in our lives.
Love,
Clare

Welcome Bay!
You've made it to the friendliest place in town. I think you'll find answers or at least support from the members here. They're a great bunch!
XX :)

Welcome to Susan's Place. There has been some discussion about surgery in Australia and a number of people on the board are from that country. If you don't see what you are interested in, as and I am sure somebody from there will supply an answer. I think you will find people here very friendly and helpful because what make this website work is sharing of a common condition. Let me know if I can help you.

Welcome to Susan's, Bay.
There are lots of Australians here, I'm one of them :)
What state are you in? I'm in Queensland.
I'm also in my early 30's and started hrt recently.
I went with laser over electrolysis, I plan to use electrolysis to deal with any stragglers.
I hope you find as much fun, support, and information here as I have.
Hugs,
Sarah

Hi Sarah.
I'm in Sydney, NSW. I tried laser but after a few appointments they said my hair was too light for the laser to pick up :( Electrolysis is so slow and owy.
