Title: Progesterone - Poll Part Three

I am interested to get a view from all of those taking Progesterone on a series of Poll questions.
The first part of the poll relates to whether you are taking it continuously or cyclical
Part two of the poll relates to what positive effects of taking it you have been getting
Part three of the poll relates to negative effects of taking it
The reason for the polls is that when I first transitioned some 30 years ago, my doctors were all in favour of prescribing Progesterone as part of my HRT regime; however since recommencing HRT Therapy some 30 years later my current doctor does not believe there are any positive benefits from its use, preferring a Oestrogen HRT regime only.
I am thus curious about other peoples experiences
This is Poll Part Three.

I took progesterone and premarin back in the day, my new endo gave me a pill that contained both, only after srs did they take me off progesterone. Didnt seem to do anything I could notice.

None of the negative effects listed, but positive, OMG! Great for breast growth, nipple and areolar expansion. Highly recommend it and my doctor feels it should be a part of all HRT for MtF. :)

The first 6 months of hrt I was on medroxy(synthetic P) which ended up giving me full blown depression so my doc switched me over to prometrium which is bio-identical P, after that everything became better.

My appetite has increased as well. I haven't gained any weight, but my weight loss has slowed quite a bit.

You didn't take progesterone. You took medroxyprogesterone acetate which is in a pill with premarin called Prempro. The effects are quite different in comparison to bio-identical progesterone. It's critical to note the differences.
