Darn, if I had known I would have waited!
.
.
.
No I wouldn't have.
Good luck to all who use today as a prompt to come out.

Today was my coming the rest of the way out day, i.e., to the FB masses.
Pretty good so far, more than 100 likes (more than a third of my friend list), and no negativity at all...
Thanks to everyone who came out before me, it is that much easier for me thanks to you. I hope that I can do my small part to help make it easier for those who come out in the future.

My experience was just like yours a few weeks ago. I even got a nice comment from the wife of one of the Mets broadcasters via a friend who knows her.
I just posted my second LGBT+ specific post on Facebook. My first was my coming out. The second was the video about today by the HRC. My comment was "This is absolutely critical. We LGBT+ are an easily hidden group of minorities and when hidden our rights are easily taken from us. Hidden is Forgotten."

I came out to my mother and a few friends yesterday.
went pretty wel ^^, so far a lot of support lost 1 friend tho but i gues that wasnt a realy friend as he was the only one who didnt notice anything al these years, the rest kinda knew.
Now to get my appointment with the clinic and get over my RLE stage fright.
