Hi, so I just started HRT and I was wondering when all of you have started to see changes when you started.

Stating the obvious here ..... but as you know I'm sure, everyone's results vary.
For me, I started noticing some skin and body hair changes about 3-4 months in. Definite breasts development by 6 months to the point of needing to wear to sports bra for comfort and the tenderness, very sore and itchy, plus I want the padding of a sports bra for the protection from accidental bumps, they really hurt.
Otherwise, it's been really to easy so far to maintain weight and even lose a little needed.
Everything's been good for me.
Best of luck, congrats on getting started and look forward to hearing your progressions.
Hugs!

Hi Lynette,
Welcome to the family. Hope you enjoy your stay. May it be long an fruitful.
Best thing for you is to start taking body measurements now, and noting any psychological changes you may experience. Your journey on a "common" path will be totally different to the person sitting next to you.
There are so many variants to HT that make this experience totally unique. So don't compare your expectations with anyone else's. it'll only frustrate the hell out of you.
Who your Endo / health professional is, the type of HT prescribed, it's format, dosage, your acceptance and up take rate, psychological state, weight, etc, etc, etc will determine how you come out in the wash.
Sit down, buckle up and prepare for the most rewarding roller coaster ride of a lifetime. Enjoy and embrace the journey. It's out there on its own. Unparalleled.
Be kind to yourself and keep in touch and let us know how you're coping.
Huggs

Depends on your age, genes and receptivity. Everyone is different! I had mental and skin/odor/libido changes the first week. Erect nipples by 2 weeks, palpable breast buds after 1 month.

I've been on hrt for a week and a day it's a fairly low dose of spiro and estradiol, and the things I've noticed are, my scent has changed, my sense of smell has changed, and i think my skin is a bit softer.

HI lynette, welcome to Susan's. I believe it was in the first 6 to 8 weeks, but the mental changes were felt sooner. I look forward to seeing you around the forums. Good luck and Hugs
