Title: Nipples!

So, simple question here for those of you (us?) who transitioned after ~25 years old.
When your breasts came in, which way did/do your nipples point? Mine are kinda pointing outward instead of straight forward and I was wondering if they're likely to straighten out at all once they start filling in. I'm still very flat (guy) chested.

Both of mine point straight ahead. You are very early in the process so the appearance of your nipples may change a lot in the next few years

Mine point straight out and are unusually long and pokey, I've seen CIS girls with the same type so I'm not too bothered by it.

Anatomically it depends on the convexity or concavity of your ribs in relation to your sternum (breast bone is where your clavicles meet). They will generally point forward, although it depends on the amount of breast tissue you have. It's rather common for trans women to have nipples that point outward because we often don't mature past Tanner IV on our breast development, however some of us do. Implants can also change the directionality of your nipples as well, especially if you experience a complication with them.
Mine point a outward a bit, but I have another year and a half before the typical first four years of breast growth is up ;-)

It takes quite awhile for breasts to develop and it has been interesting to observe the various changes over the years
I've noticed that during development that the nipples would point different ways at different times depending on the size and shape of the developing breasts
For awhile they projected sharply forward, then they seem to kinda point downward and that kinda bothered me as I didn't want a pair of sagging 'droopers'
As of late the girls have been pointing slightly up and to the side and I'm hoping they will stay that way awhile as I kinda like the shape and think they look pretty good right now :icon_chick:

LOL, it's been good to read everybody's stories! I was kinda hoping the tissue would develop in such a way that they begin pointing more straight forward instead of outward, but it sounds like cis girls can point every which way too, so I guess it doesn't matter, hehe. I have just been observing my wife's more closely lately (as she's been breastfeeding) and they point like completely straight forward, both side to side and up and down, so I was just curious.
And yes, I know I've got a looooooooong way to go. The nips are sore allllllllll the time now, it's just a question of how much. I don't really feel the buds behind the nipples anymore to speak of, maybe the breast tissue is just burying them deeper inside. it seems like I've had SOME development, it's just hard to tell. I can hunch my shoulders over and together in front and see the girls starting to take shape, but if I'm lying on my back with my arms up over my head they completely disappear, which makes me a little sad, lol.

Your soreness seems a positive sign of development and isn't that something we get to enjoy? I have heard some trans girlfriends talk about having "Walleye Breasts." With a larger barrel shaped chest some of are just going to be cuter from a side profile maybe;-)
