Title: New and struggling

This is my first post. I am a 60 something (a little more something) cross dresser. I have dressed occassionaly for years. I have been married for 46 years and have grown children. My wife had suspected my dressing but, I made a full disclosure about six months ago.
She accepts but wants no part of it. She will not meet 'Wendi'. She has let me add a few things to my limited wardrobe. I have no desire to go out en femme or reveal my dressing to anyone else.
I am too old to cross-dress? I want to look like sophisticated lady in her 60s. Are there any other senior cross-dressers out there. I would like to chat with some.
I am also not very computer literate. I don't have pictures and don't know how to post if I did.
Thanks for listening to me.
Wendi

I don't think there's such a thing as too old to do anything. Well, perhaps rock climbing in your 80's isn't the best idea, but within the bounds of physical limitations, why not?
It's good you're honest with your wife. Many spouses see it as a betrayal if they don't know.
Welcome to the site, Wendi.

you can rock climb in your 80's you just have to pick much smaller rocks! one from the driveway would be suggested!
welcome Wendi! some people might tell you that you are as young as you feel (if that is the case I am three times the age my ID says). they may tell you that you are as young as you look (I am not even commenting on this other than to say that on my bad days that comment is very offensive) so I say you are as young as you act and when I feel old I make up for it by being really immature (if my wife saw this she would say I must feel old everyday)! Do what feels good to you if we are not going to let birth sex stop us why let a silly little thing like age get in our way!

It can be hard on partners so it is good that she has shown some acceptance.
Never too old to dress in clothes I reckon, although when your old I guess you can have the luxury of going about naked and not caring who you offend ;D - this is how I plan to play it in my 80's anyhow.
I don't think the 60's are that old these days. If you say you are too old to crossdress then you are missing out on some serious wardrobe.
Nice to meet you Wendi!

No Way is 60 too old!
I'll never give up my girl stuff no matter how old I get.
I'm 52 and I know there's a lot more to try on.
You are only 60 years young.

Hi Wendy and welcome!
You're never too old to do what you enjoy.
I'm 50 and overweight and still like to skateboard with the kids in the park (only one broken arm so far) so who's to say how old is too old?
Your wife accepts you dressing the way you feel comfortable, so make the most of it for as long as can.
When you are a sophisticated lady computer whizz in your nineties, you'll look back and wonder what all the worrying was about.....and if you see a dubious looking old woman
on a skateboard go past your window, you'll know who it is ;D
