Title: Question about tucking

I am not 100 percent sure if I'm on the right board for this question. My apologies in advance if not. I was wondering if anyone has any somewhat in depth knowledge and/or experience with tucking. I spend most of my time at home somewhat tightly tucked which really helps to curb my dysphoria. Lately I have been thinking about maybe trying to go tucked all day through work. My main concern is that my job is pretty physical and I sweat a lot throughout the day. I really like not feeling anything "down there", but I don't want to cause any damage either. I hope to eventually have full GRS, and I would like all nerve endings and such to be in good condition. Just wondering if anyone has any advice. Thank you so much.
Hugs,

I really don't think tucking will cause any nerve damage, although it will increase temperature and humidity down there. Assuming you're tucking with the double panties method, make sure they're cotton so they'll breathe.

I do wear cotton panties, but I also wear a homemade gaff to make sure I STAY tucked. I will try the double panties method tomorrow. Thank you for the advice.

Double panties worked well for years for me. The first pair were cotton bikini briefs, one size too small. The outer pair were full or mid briefs with elastane, again one size smaller. Or shaping control briefs for a other occasions. Nothing is perfect, but for the simplicity, that worked well.

I tuck with the pantyhose waistband and sock tube method, in the beginning I also taped my scrotum to my shaft, but as things have decreased a little in size, I have stopped using tape since it caused some skin damage which is a bad thing when it comes to SRS. So now it's only the waistband and a sock.
I train martial arts tucked like this, and I often stay tucked from morning to late night, and have no issues whatsoever after I stopped using tape. Ironically, the only complication I experience tends to only happen while sitting still, namely that a part of my foreskin sometimes gets pinched, which can hurt intensely. It typically happens while at the hairdresser or some other activity where I can't easily go to the restroom and fix it. That is also rarer now, though - it also seemed to happen more while taping, for some reason.

I also tuck with the tube sock method. I've been doing that 24/7 since February and have no complications of any kind. Aside from the occasional pinching. I've even played soccer while tucked and everything stayed in place.

I am still very new to this. What is the sock method? Would any of you send me a private message or aim me in the right direction? Tucking it well is one of my main concerns at this moment

I used to use the double panties method, then I tried one pair and I stay tucked all day really without the extra support, if you could call it that. The home made gaff (ie: Tube of a sock and lining of pantyhose) does a nice tuck, but also is pretty thick, maybe just when using that method you could use a strip from the leg part of the pantyhose, which would be a bit thinner, and not as rough as a sock would be in that regard.
I've been tuckjng 24/7 and at work I have no issues coming undone or pinching in even just one pair of panties, it generally helps with wearing skinny pants in general to keep your form and tuck in order.

I agree that it's thicker than some of the other methods, but it's also easier, especially when going to the toilet and so on. That said, I use thin socks (generally the kind of socks often used with men's suits - yep, my only remaining male clothing item is used for hiding my genitals), and I mostly wear skinny jeans, or (more rarely) a skirt. At worst, if I'm sloppy with the waistband, it sometimes creates lines across my butt, making it look like I use panties with a very thick edge. I solve that by pulling the strings together in the back, and that makes them disappear into you know where. It was a bit uncomfortable in the beginning, but I got used to it after a few days. I've worn yoga pants without it being noticeable this way. So for it to be noticeable, you'd have to either wear something like tights with nothing hanging over (I wouldn't want to do that, I'd feel naked), or a bikini. Were I to wear a bikini, I'd probably use the double panty method.
