"WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) –  State lawmakers want to clarify laws concerning public treatment of transgender people. The bill would allow transgender people to use bathrooms and locker rooms according to how they identify themselves."

I was looking this up ealier tonight, couldn't find any news. Thanks for posting this, so glad that Baker has decided he doesn't want to decide, he was the roadblock. I hope the folks I voted for get to pass this so I can feel more secure in the state I call home!

why ohh why  did I violate the first law of trans articles on the internet...why did I read the comments. I was all happy. My state is doing the right thing, sure it wont suddenly take the stress out of using the ladies room, but that's slowly fading over time. But it is nice to know that at least here in my little corner of the world things are mostly safe and accepting for me. But I read the comments and that reminded me of why I hate people. Still YAY

Awful article. I get the feeling there was a whole lot more to the bill, but the bill seems to mention only the issues of bathrooms. If it isn't intended as anti-trans propaganda, it's pretty darn close.

Mass may be a state accepting of LGBT, but they can still be stubborn about keeping old ways. That said, I hope there is an exception.
