So I do all the grocery shopping in my household. Last night I was at the store after my therapy appointment and was in a particularly feminine mood. Sometimes I like to add an extra sway to my hips when I walk up and down the aisles when the mood strikes me. So I was going down the aisle and this older layer is going the opposite way. She gave me a terribly dirty look that I frankly didn't understand. I quickly forgot about her and went on my merry way. Later on I crossed paths were here again, passing in front of her (with plenty of room and not rudely at all) and she speeds up and runs over the back of my foot and ankle.
It was so unexpected I was kind of in shock. I spoke up as she walked away (without apology or acknowledgment) "What's your problem?" But no answer. She quite clearly did it intentionally and couldn't have not noticed as her cart bounced up and over the back of my ankle and shoe. I'm not sure what to think about this. It was quite clearly an attack, but for what reason? Hate?

I don't know but some people just can't stand it when somebody else is in a good mood which I am sure was what you were feeling. It's best to ignore somebody like that and stay mellow.
On the other side, you could put some earbuds in your ears and the might think you are moving to the music.

Wow, what a jerk. Some people are very competitive and aggressive. Best to keep a wide birth if you see her again.

This was a physical assault. You were victimized by someone who is quite obviously anti-social.
I've had some nasty looks, but never anything like that.
Hugs.
