OMG after 2 years + of HRT my body looks so much nicer, hair growth has almost stopped, my breasts are a nice B cup, my skin is so much softer, my completion is also so much nicer. I feel great being a woman & so proud to be a woman. I've had several plastic surgeries to improve my face & body, ie a facelift, liposuction, tummy tuck.... However my butt is just not flling out & this is so upsetting. Will our butt's ever fill out for a normal sexy feminine shape? Any real life reports from nice mtF members please? Like everything in this process, your milage may vary. For some there is no change while others have very round backsides... everyone else falls somewhere in-between. Mine is fairly rounded, but it had been somewhat that way before HRT so I don't know what difference the medication had to begin with. I should note that 20 years ago I had a super skinny and boney butt so I guess it changes with age and diet... ??

This is likely a genetics thing. I self medicated for around 4 months (yes I know this is bad which is why I am pursuing the NHS instead) and during that period I gained quite a big butt. I would say give it some more time as fat distribution does shift.

Prior to transition I didn't have much of a but after it I did round out with a bit of a but. I'm not sure if that is the few extra pounds I put back on or if that was the HRT but either way it is nice. Hugs

I noticed you said you had lipo.  I have seen a number of articles on the Brazilian butt lift.  It is a process where they do lipo then transfer your fat to the butt area.  I believe that it is an accepted, fairly common procedure now.  I don't know how long the results last.  I saw a plastic surgeon on the Dr. OZ show within the last couple of weeks who owns or licenses clinics in many of the larger cities across US.  They do thousands of the procedures every year.  You can choose from a number of different butt "types."  "I'll take a Kim K!" He specifically mentioned to Dr. OZ that some of the patients are men-so you shouldn't have anxiety about asking.  Unfortunately, after already having had Lipo you may  not have enough fat left for the procedure. 

Hello, I have a friend who was once a lover and her butt is fantastic!  She was in the 3rd year of HRT when her butt exploded.  She explained to me how thin her body was at one time.  As weight (FAT) came back on it went to her butt. Has not had any surgeries other than BA.  Nice thin waist making for a pretty hourglass figure.   Very much a body to die for.

When it comes to fat redistribution, my guess is going into HRT thin results in a better outcome.
Been on HRT for 15 months.  Sure hope I will experience some of her explosive butt growth!

First off Ladies, I don't have a Butt, I have a Bummie.
Second, I don't have a Bummie, I got na tops o mi legs :D

I was lucky (kind of) Genetics gave me a girly butt, hips & thighs as a girl. In school I used to get teased (more by girls) for that. During my transition things kind of fell into place. My hips rounded a bit more. I am glad of the body I have (VERY full 34As) I wear 34B bra because 34A kind of snug. I have the same measurements as Vikki my GF/mentor 34B-26-36 5/4 138lbs. Some of our girl friends are jealous that some guys look better as GG. Vikki jokes & says 'Jealous?' Genetics & HRT are kind of a crap shoot. 

I sure hope my hips/butt fill out a bit. If I could get my hip measurement to somewhere around 40-42, it would look a lot better on me. Trouble is all my weight seems to go in the wrong places.

I hope so! I would flip for some curves...  unless it meant dimples, then I'm out! Lol!

All these posting had me wondering what I measure in at.  So just for fun:
38 band A cup    36   40 hips
Weight: 180
Height 6'3"
Hips measurement made at bone.  Now if I could only stand the thought of putting some meat on them.

Hasn't happened to me yet. OTOH, it's a pretty universal condition of womanhood to have some part of our bodies we don't like.

Its a Genetics thing im sure! I think looking at the women in your family will help you have an idea of how are you going to look like, sort of.

Like, i never even considered looking like anyone in my fam, now that im transitioning, my sister and i look awfully similar, maybe i am 3-5cm taller and s few kilos slimmer, but i heard hrt will 'take care of that'? Either way omgosh lol i look like i have a twin sister now

It's nice to see that so many of us want nicer looking bodies. My plastic surgeon is doing all he can for mine but some pleasant improvements without surgery would be so nice. I have a nice ass and better hips than I had ever hoped for with HRT. I look a lot better when I have a small waist and am under 140lbs. I look great in skinny jeans already. I was considering a Brazilian butt lift or some kind of augmentation but I am already satisfied with my looks, and all patience, time, and money would go towards bigger boobs or GRS. It helps to do exercise for your ass and legs, which I do as much as possible.

it surely happens but it is a YMMV thing and genetic again.

When i started HRT on Oct 8th 2015 i had 36.5 inch hips  they are now at 38 inch !  and yes the butt is starting to  fill.

Dont give up, there is no real set time for something to happen with HRT.

Going to gym in a regular basis and training your legs will also improve your butt appearance.

My butt has always had a round disposition, and from my waist to there, I have had compliments in the case as well as cisfemales are often jealous. When I do eventually start hrt and such it can only get better, as genetics on my mothers side of the family has those figures.

Yes the butt area will fill out. Fat distribution is amazing. I started hormones when I was 20 I just turned 21 now. I've been on HRT for 6 months. Prior to hrt I had a very round butt and hip area even more bigger and rounder than my cis girlfriends! I noticed changes little by little in my butt every month or two but lately I noticed a dramatic different once I past my 6 month week! I have a small waist, I do eat healthy to stay slim but I do eat junk to because thankfully the fat all goes to my butt, hips, and thighs now. The butt will get bigger but it's also a genetics thing as well. Some of the woman in my family have huge butts. My waist has gotten smaller because I think the stomach fat got distributed. Also I have a steel corset and wear my corset everyday for 8 hours or I sleep with it. This is just my opinion but a good way to get good fat distribution is to loose weight then gain weight then loose then gain then loose lol kind of like a pattern. But I didn't really do that I kept my same diet and still got amazing results so far but I do eat healthy for awhile then I'll have a few days where I eat whatever. By the way my hips are so much bigger yay. I'm not done with my fat distribution but so far so good I can't wait to keep it going I'm hoping to have a really big butt lol. I'm not opposed to butt implants in future but I want to let the hormones do its thing first.

I am not on HRT and my wife sometimes jokes at my scanty hips. But I feel fine with my current hip shape, although it is a little bit masculine. There are many beautiful women who have hips as scanty as mine.

Great for you young girl. I'm sure you will become a beautiful woman. I so wanted to have HRT in my teens long ago like you. I always had a big butt which was nice but now I really want a very pleasant sexy feminine shape. After my liposuction & tummy tuck surgery I also wear a corset to help shape my body & I too have a small waist line. My body looks great in a tight dress. My mother was very nice with a nice body & most all my friends tell me that I look just like her which is such a nice compliment. I'm her daugher & always have been really. She tried her best long ago to find a doc to help with my HRT for me, she always knew I was female. Anyway it sounds like in time my butt will fill out which is so exciting. Now, if only I could get rid of the belly...

Women in my family have been blessed with curvy hips and round butts. Before HRT my own was not prototypical male, I have always had a somewhat pear shape. Having said that, i was surprised on how quickly weight shifted for me.

I have gained 2 inches on my bottom in less than a year on HRT. I did not think it would happen right off the bat, I have been sort of shocked. I started putting jeans on me that suddenly were tight and my weight was remaining the same. So like everyone ymmv and it is genetic lottery.

Now if only my body hair would turn to vellus faster, that would be good.

Jenna, I had liposuction & tummy tuck surgery. It's amazing how thin my stomach area is, amazing. It's a little expensive & it sure hurts for the first 2 weeks but girl friend your body will look amazing. It's a very common surgery for lots of women so there are lots of docs that do it. Good luck. Mine was only around 6-7K, The scar is like a C section birth delivery.

I know this seems strange but I've never considered myself as a transwoman. I've always considered myself as a cis girl & now woman that somehow got some of the wrong hormones & a wrong body part of two. In first grade I was so upset when the teacher told me a was a "boy" & had to sit & play with the boys. I felt so strange being forced to be with the wrong group. I was a pretty little girl, I knew that, my mother knew that.....I've always been female & so happy for that. Good luck to you & everyone.

Thanks & Happy Thanksgiving to you also. Yea I know plastic surgery is expensive. I think I have my surgeon picked out, she is very nice & experienced however not well know. She wanted me to heal up quite a while before my GRS. She seems to really care, we talk a lot. I'm sure she will do a great job to create a normal depth vagina I so hope. Take care girl friend. Oh I had a complete facelift & upper eye lid surgery along with other facial surgery 2 years ago. Talk about being scary OMG but my face finally healed up very nicely. It takes so long to heal up from PS.

Full Disclosure, I always had a big but and girlie hips. A source of much derision as a youth.  Between muscle mass loss and watching what sort of foods I eat I lost some padding. Hard benches, I learned and much to my wife's joy, are hard! Sitting on concrete steps or walls actually does hurt  :o

No ass here, or boobs for that matter. :(

I have to rely on padded bodywear to even achieve a feminine figure.

Yes I have tried hip/butt under garment padding and they do work great and looks natural you can also go as big as you want lol. They have nice ones on Amazon and look so good if you are wearing high waisted jeans! :o I think if you invest in the right one for you they are totally worth the purchase and no one will know.

Not strange at all. I think we including myself are so caught up in saying trans or cis woman but to me the terms don't matter because we are all the same. Cis and trans women have many similarities. Every woman is born with something different about them.

Yeah it's really all based on genetics hah....well that and putting weight on. When losing weight it comes off boobs and butt before tummy haha.

I do squats and stuff to try to get some more shape at least but yeah....

Victorai Secret has 4 way padded girdles that look great with extra fluff on the sides & rear of your butt. I've worn one for years but now my butt is filling out some & it's a little too much for me. They are very inexpensive & come in black or beige colors. But they make a very nice hour glass figure with a small waist line & some breasts. My body looks very sexy & totally feminine when I wear one. The men notice I swear.

I always had a big butt as "male" and it attracted lots of attention however it's slimmed down after 3 years of HRT but I also went from 150lbs to 129lbs so it could be either HRT or the weight loss.

I know a lot of transwomen. The answer is NO. Your butt only gets bigger by gaining your weight but in that case fat will also goes to belly, legs, aso. Hormones dont lead fat goes to hips and butt now. I always thought this (if you believe the internet) but fat distribution is mostly influenced by your genetic not hormones. Its a myth.

It depends on genetics yes but people like myself have experienced a bigger butt on hrt. Some don't some do. Saying that it's a myth is false.

But I have no doubt that I have photos of myself with a noticeably rounder butt after a few months on HRT (without adding to the belly fat I already had).

I've been on hormones only 5 months. For me, the boobs are getting bigger and the butt has definitely gotten bigger. I was a flat butt. Now most of the flatness has given way to being round. Doctor says I have gotten a quick start. Everyone is different. Best to be optimistic!

As i said. It depends on your genetics, not which medicine you get.
And for sure: Its always good to have some photos. Not because i think you lie - i cant imagine it for myself. Its a really sad fact for my person because i never experience such things. I also cant image how boobs grow. If hormones CAN do that, i would have boobs today. So, this teaches me that other facts are more important.

Galaxy : Maybe I'm confused? I'm not sure anymore if you mean that HRT does not cause fat redistribution. I'm 100% certain that HRT caused me to get a bigger butt and thighs, as I was 32 years old with no sign of either developing until a few months into taking estrogen. I meant "genetics" in the sense that HRT will only trigger the expression of the "female" side of your genes, the same way testosterone causes trans women to develop masculine traits in the first puberty. Someone who comes from a family of cis women who aren't curvy probably won't end up super curvy on HRT either, but even someone with the genetics to be curvy as a woman needs the HRT to trigger that female fat pattern.

It's definitely not a myth that HRT can trigger fat redistribution. Heck, I weigh slightly less now than I did pre-HRT, and I've got wicked curves after six years.

Sure, as i said. It triggers not causes! You can have thousand of keys. Without any lock you wont open any door. The more locks you have and keys the more doors you will open. During my HRT i had with injections millions of this keys - my doctor thought i'm pregnant - but without any lock your keys are uselss.

I watched an early Marilyn Monroe movie yesterday. Oh my what a body that woman had. Only in my dreams.

Oh girl friend I feel your pain, uggggg.

I ordered a new 4 pad light girdle today, my older one is wore out. It was only $40 & far less $ than having my plastic surgeon do butt implants, hahahaha. It would sure be nice if HRT helped grow a nice butt. Oh well I'll look normal in a pair of tight pants, pretty sexy, I'm sure all the men will notice.

Well girls I must say that archlord is right. Go to gym and train that butt :) not only will it get bigger but firmer and rounder.

Hrt did nothing with my butt and it was pretty small, with the right routine I have my bubble butt now.

A bubble butt with narrow hips does drag som eyes on it and make a lot of girls jealous.

I think that some of it is genetics and some of it is luck of the draw. In my case it's genetics - I had two short full figured grandmothers and i'm built a lot like they were.

I was told over and over again by girls that I had a "nice butt" before I started transitioning. After almost 2 years on a transitioning dose of HRT and 18 months on progesterone I have even more back there. One of my girl friends complains that my butt is bigger than hers.

I am giving this to years of training at the gym. HRT has nothing to do with that "for now".

I hate jungles because the anacondas want my big fat butt.

It's funny but I think my Butt is filing out. I tried on some tight jeans that I wore last winter, they were tough to wiggle over my butt & they sure looked better. I've never measured myself much except for my bra's but it looks like I'm filling out some. Happy Dance.

I find myself touching my own butt and boobs all the time lol

I want my butt to not feel so bony when im laying down but it's always been meaty so I'm lucky I guess. Just waiting on my hips and breast to catch up ... maybe in a few years!

Since my nose corrected itself by a sheer miracle (I'm still in shock) I may not need to get surgery. I really can't afford it and I hate the idea of surgery [emoji17] I do still kinda want ffs though... but idk

it will a little... but fat transfer to hips and butt helps a lot :)

My butt has the remnants (scars) of a gunshot wound and shrapnel bits but it has filled out fairly nicely, I actually have a fairly nice feminine body shape now  :icon_chick:

It's actually rather common, got hit in the legs, a bunch of small burns all over my back and shoulders and my face practically looked like hamburger as well - Anyway, stuff happens
