This forum is the best.

But, I accepted I'm transgender while I was with my girlfriend, and when I told her. We talked about it almost everyday, and sometimes for hours about it.

An internet forum can't do that for me.

There's talking about it and there's doing something about it. If you are feeling the need to transition then you should be talking to a therapist or counsellor who can suggest a course of action for you and hopefully facilitate that for you. That will get you towards your goal - but keep in mind that this process takes time and money (an extreme amount of money). Have you considered beard removal? Hormone therapy? Time and money (and in the case of beard and body hair removal, a fair bit of pain). And that's before you even get to the surgery itself. So take a deep breath and start to plan and give yourself the time and space to make the right choices... at least two years... rather than rushing in and doing things you may regret later.

Money is the main problem.

I'm trying very hard to be patient. Talking about how I could be post op helps me be patient.

It's pretty difficult to compare a personal physically connected friend and or lover to the impersonality of the internet. The reality for all you know you could be communicating with a very advanced artificial intelligent program. I've found a lot of friends here at Susan's.  I just went out to lunch last Friday with a member who lives in California and was  in town visiting her girl friends parents. I plan to meet up with another member in two weeks,

Me and my girlfriend hadn't meet her face to face yet.

I resist the urge to speak to any of these ladies, like how had spoken to my girlfriend.

I suggest you work at it from both ends. Being "post-op" is your current goal but if you take no action about it then it will never be any closer. Next thing you know it'll be ten years later and it still won't be any closer. By all means have your goal but do something about it, find a gender therapist/counsellor and start the conversation with them. That way you're working the problem from both ends.
