Squickiness and trigger warning.

I've been slightly concerned about what's going on down there... I do have a different odor, and I'm sure it's more feminine, but it's also a bit strong.. Thing is, I thought it was just from sweat, but it's also almost always a bit ehh.. moist? The skin is also smoother, mostly along the underside. Basically, where my penis is squashed into my scrotum all day when stuffed into my panties. I'm wondering how much of this is from estrogenization and how much is from improper 'stowage'. :laugh: I mean, it's not really meant to be tucked away. I clean it regularly enough but it seems to be like this most of the time. Should I be cleaning it more often or in particular ways, or worry more about fungal or bacterial infections? I assume my body is trying to feminize it as much as the rest of me, making it as much like a vagina as it can. Given that the vagina is self-cleaning (at least on the inside), has a particular pH level, and should be cleaned carefully, should I be taking any of these particularities in mind as well? I'd ask my endo but I don't think he would have any clue whatsoever, lol.

I'd say a lot of what you're describing comes from tucking - as you say, the tackle generally is designed for much looser, free & breezy environments.

Mine has changed odor as well, but I wouldnt call it bad... I actually enjoy it  8)

I've noticed some of this. The odor has changed but i would not describe it as stronger, but definitely more feminine which is cool. The dampness i have wondered about too. I chalked it up to wearing tighter clothes like skinny jeans and leggings but i am not so sure. I don't tuck per se, but i do wear tight bottoms often. I probably need to wear more skirts but this time of year that means tights too so not sure that will help.

I pay more attention to cleaning etc. I have  a hunch that there is a PH thing at work and using gentle cleaning products that CIS women use, would probably be a good thing.

Finally, i have noticed both testicle shrinkage (as expected) but also penis shrinkage. Not a bad thing, but maybe not expected. I have wondered how many see the latter. (not to derail your main questions). Anyone else see that within the first year?

agree with what MsGrace said. things aren't in the "breeze" as much. try baby powder on the privates, Ive found it helps to keep things drier.

Since we're talking "squick"... regardless of whether you're circumcised or not you might want to check under the foreskin for... ah... smegma (http://www.news-medical.net/health/What-is-smegma.aspx). Known by other less scientific names, but it can build up under the foreskin, especially if the penis is not used sexually for some time and can lead to an unpleasant odour if not removed.

I have noticed everything discussed up thread but also these two. Yes, shrinkage is real! My doctor told me it was a possibility. I am just glad it happened. I am eight months on hrt right now.

Otherwise tucking in nylon panties will do as you say. You can try cotton or micro-fiber for better breathability

Oh yeah. I've noticed a change in odor, a very pleasant female scent. I've also noticed more aahhh, moisture. However, I was a lil concerned about this so when I'm at home, and in my PJs, I'm going commando. While there is less moisture, there is still some. I don't really know what to think of all this but I'm pleased with the new, female scent. I don't think it is really a strong scent, my sense of smell has also improved. I can smell more stuff now. I think it is just a normal scent and no stronger than usual.

I had my first yeast infection earlier this year like I couldn't believe it, I thought I wasn't going to deal with that issue till I was postop NOPE couldnt be more wrong lol....It happened right around the time I was switched to a different injection strength (stronger). The area that it was in was at the base where a lot of moisture accumulates, so I've switched to sleeping naked (which makes me sort of dysphoric :( ), cotton only underwear, I no longer wear undies with my skinnies. Apparently women with high estrogen levels are more prone to yeast infections.

I don't think this has anything to do with ph, it's still a penis, it's going to act like a penis.   When you tuck it, it sweats, along with that, leakage will occur which stays there.  My suggestion is to not tuck, unless you have a huge member when flacid, you really should be able to just position it and no one will no,  I've never had an issue and it's fairly large.  Also, shaving clean will make it sweat more.  Use some poweders and you'll be fine.

I dont know but this week when i had it tucked for a couple hours, when i released it, it was wet all around the scrotum and it didnt look like water .. i am only 2 month in HRT  so i dont think this is comming from estrogen.

However what is sure is that the thing is getting smaller like....... DAMN..... seriously im not lying i lost so much size that it looks like it will eventually invert inside and my balls are half the size they were.  I am getting concerned about keeping enough tissue lenght for SRS.

Yeah i dont know what is up but my T level must be non existant at all.  It is now even causing me problem when going to toilet as i have more shaft skin then actual penis size and that makes the pee go in random way... 

Should i be worried?  I heard that just stretching  will keep all the skin needed for SRS.

yep I haven't lost much length at all in 3.5 years of hrt because I've been proactive about stretching. I want as much tissue as possible for the surgeon to work with so they can give me a good aesthetic the first time through, if not there's always the labiaplasty.
