Title: Starting Hormone Therapy

Hello guys, I am trying to start hormone therapy but do not know what doctors specializes in transgender care for are trans friendly. I live in sc but moving to nc in a couple of months. I would like to go ahead and start Hormones therapy now. DO you guys know any doctors in the sc and nc area that are trans friendly? and know what they are doing?

If you're seeing one, your therapist can usually help in this regard. If they deal with trans issues frequently, they should know endos or GPs that are experienced with HRT. If you're looking for an informed consent clinic, I'd suggest contacting local LGBT resource centers, as they will be able to provide the most current information for your area.
