Earlier, today someone told that gender reassignment surgery was covered by Affordable Healthcare act. But up until now I was lead to believe GCS, was considered cosmetic surgery in my state for as long as I could remember. (Saint Louis MO) Does being a part of the Affordable Healthcare act change any factors of this situation?
(Also I'd love to see a concrete list of where and who provide insurance if one exist )

As much as the affordable care act is a federal law, they leave it to each state to run unless the state opted for the federal government to do so. It's possible that an insurance in your state does and that one of those plans is in the exchange. Otherwise, I doubt your insurance will have changed any as a result. Hugs
