I got an appointment but its not until March and near the end. Its a informed consent clinic and I dont know what the first appointment will entail, I would love to come home with scripts but it may only be consultation, unfortunately they have very few hours of operation, thats why its so far out. Well, its something to look forward to, right?

I'd imagine that it will be an interview, medical history, and possibly a blood test to see where they should start, and if you still want it after they lay out the schpeel. Your second appointment will probably be your results and prescriptions.

Thanks Harley, I just hope I dont have to wait 3 more months to get a second app
they claim they eliminate the "gatekeepers".... but a long wait is sort of disheartening

I doubt that they would make a follow-up more than a few weeks after any testing. Common sense would dictate, that the longer they wait the less useful any of their tests would be. I wouldn't worry too much. I'm sure that it will get scheduled rather quickly.

Several of my friends (actually, most,) get their hormone scripts from there.
And Dr. Ng is basically one of the most trans-friendly doctors you could possibly meet. He understands the needs of the trans community, and even does medical trans* activism, specifically campaigning for trans rights.
So yeah... you're in good hands. There won't be any real pressure. It's not one of those "prove you're really trans otherwise I'm going to keep dangling this treatment out in front of you" doctor situations.
The only criticism I've ever heard of Dr. Ng is that he tends to be on the conservative side in terms of dosages, he prefers to start people out slowly and see how they respond rather than starting them on a full dose, but that's about it.
