Has anyone one had the issue of your prescription getting messed up? I had to call the pharmacy today and they gave me enough for about a week when i had it filled Wednesday. told me my insurance wasn't paying for more than what they gave me. I called my insurance they said that wasn't true........ called the pharmacy again and now she will fill it for the rest of what I need.......

I will say when i was in there on Wednesday I over hear the girls behind the counter talking about how her brother was trans and she wasn't accepting of it. She was being kind of rude about it. The girl that cashed me out was more than nice tho so i just brushed it off.

Hope they refill you correctly from now on.

To the girl not accepting you might give a biological explanation:
that there are differences in brains of women and men so a mismatch is possible, and its nobodys fault... neither the trangender persons nor their upbringing or whatever.

yes I hope so too. After I heard the girl talking about her brother that way I just wanted to get out of there. I was nervous/scared that I would be outted in front of everyone in that store(it was packed). I still present as male for now and the thought of it was really messing with my head......

It was not a reproach.... just a small reminder a biological explanation might help.

Presented in a friendly tone it might help explain...

I recommend you register a complaint about the incorrect prescription and of what you heard to the corporate office of the Pharmacy.

I will if she says anything when I go back for the rest of my script. I am the kind of person I generally do not let things get to me. I brush it off and move on. It's one of the reasons my boss hired me and has given me a raise lol. Anyways yes I will probably just go thru the drive thru this time.

there is always a possibility that they didn't have enough on hand for the full refill.

When I called them they had the wrong insurance information and that's what screwed everything up. But what gets me is when I got there I gave them my insurance card and they supposedly changed it....

This is my position too. If there is a mechanism to prod them, I say max it up and take no prisoners.

That happens to me often with the Estradiol. I usually have to come back a few days for the rest of it. Spiro, no problem. Pharmacist says that a few patients in the area are prescribed E.

One time I got 3 times the amount of spiro then I was supposed to. When I asked if this was right they just said yep. I still have a 2 month spiro surplus, I use the first in first out rule so it doesn't expire on me.

Well atleast I know I'm not alone lol
