Any tips, any recommendation, i am so stressed!!?? Im going to theatre with a men and it is the first time im going out dressed fully as a woman.

Anything to change with my look before i leave? omg i am stressed

it was a nightmare to do my nail polish .. Instant dry? LOL

My only suggestion would have been to go pee before you left. If you're not confident going out in public yet, a public restroom may be extra hard on you.

...OK, mine was at a game night at the local LGBT center, so I was going to a safe, welcoming environment that was relatively isolated from everything else. Still, I was really nervous just going there.

We need details!  How was movie night?  Just no spoilers if you saw Star Wars please :)

Ok so i went out and i survived .

I went in my car, took a good look at myself and just saw a woman as reflection . I was confident until... a song i like played at the radio and i started singing.  My reaction was : OMG my voice ... why didnt i start voice training.  how will i ask for the theater ticket without getting clocked.

I arrived at the box office, i took my ticket for Hunger Games and for some reason i didnt say it with a to loud voice and i didnt get any weird look at all. I walked to my seat, i sat and more people entered in the theater room. Everytime i was like.. i will get clocked its sure they will talk about me and say : "look i think this is a men"..

but this never happened.

The movie begun, then my dyshoria showed up again.  I saw the beautiful Jennifer Lawrence, figured she had some similar facial feature as me but i was looking at her forehead so flat and pretty and i was jaleous. Then i told myself.. omg 9 months before FFS why so long.  Then i took a look at me, noticed that i only have breast buds and this is killing me.  I looked at her hairs i was like OMG so pretty... i cant have an haircut like that until my forehead is reconstructed.

I enjoyed the movie... just this dysphoria wont leave me..

The important thing is nobody clocked you so what we have been telling you is true. You can pass in public as you are. Being uncomfortable in public is normal at first and we all go through it even when we go to a safe place. Relax and get out some more now you know you can do it and you will become more comfortable in public. You did well for your first outing and I hope to see more reports of your other trips into public soon. That's the only way you can transition to full time.

Im trying to use you as some inspiration, I went shopping today in all womens clothes (nothing blatantly obvious), yes I wore a jacket (womens)
but I felt great and I found that I interacted with everyone in a great way rather than my usual head down hiding

I didnt wear makeup and I doubt that I passed any scrutiny, but I felt better and I made others feel good by being kind and talkative, so Im calling it a win. But you are helping me to get my butt in gear because you are moving so fast

Yes dysphoria from other women is a thing and it will be a thing....even after we've changed a lot about ourselves.

Heck I get it about clothes and stuff sometimes if I don't happen to be looking my best......it's always something.

I have been dressing but so nothing that could be defined and no make up.

I went shopping with my mother and sister today.   I went out with girl clothes, makeup and mascara (no eyeliner) but my natural short hairs. It was a scary experience but it went very well and i didnt get any weird look or shout from anyone. (There is a lot of ppl before xmas in the commercial center).   I have been surprised by my mother, she helped me with buying clothes and i didnt have to ask for it :) .   And.... a few moment after we met my aunt that i had not seen for like 5-6 month.  I did a 180 and faced back was like ... omg she never saw me like that what i am going to do. Well she didnt comment and hugged me. Anyway it was a cool experience and i am back with a bag full of new clothes =).


I also recieved my new wig and i am finally happy with it.  I think im ready for full-time on jan 1st :)

All I can say Is you look GREAT!

Glad it went well. I went to see The Hunger Games last night as well. Seeing Jennifer Lawrence also triggered my dysphoria.

I am full-time since xmas and i have yet to be misgendered or people are just respectful i dont know but i am getting called miss all the time.  People walk by me in commercial center without double-watch . Im just blended even if i am basicly starting my transition and things will be perfect once i get my FFS done next month or the other.

Btw i just got my wigs improved at the hairdresser =)

Yay!!! Post pics of the improved wig!  I keep toying with the idea of a better wig but thinking it might be a waste since hair is past my ear and growing fast.

The first time is always the most awkward and usually can be funny and exciting at the same time. It gets easier as time goes on. I happened to now have a full time boy friend and I like him a lot he is good to me. After I has SRS a lot has changed for me. I never in a million years though that I would ever be with a man. WOW! how thing can change. I still like women but now prefer men. I guess that now makes me strait. I don't know. Crazy world we live in. Funny how thing can change. The fun part is playing the men as we know how they think. That alone is a blast. I love throwing a wrench in the fan here and there. LOL
