"name was Layana S.César. Her age was not revealed, as well as her job.
She was last seen Wednesday (10). Since that day she missed her job. On Monday (14) colleagues went to her home to look for her. They repeatedly knocked with no answer until finally found her lying on the floor, face down, full of blood and stab wounds.
It is not known for sure if it was a crime of passion or robbery, but several items, such as a TV, a cell phone and some money she kept save, disappeared.
So far police have no suspects"

This brings their total this year to what, 70 trans people killed? This is the country proclaiming how advanced they are. This is the country holding the 2016 Olympics. This is the country where three transgender people were stoned to death this year. This is the country where the Sao Paulo police beat a transgender woman in their custody to death. What we need is a LGBT and allies boycott of all Olympic programming to call attention to their murder rate. Hmmm, I wonder where we could find a transgender person with enough Olympic history to maybe advocate such a boycott? After the holidays, I might just write a letter suggesting something like that.
