This is more of a venting thread. Ive been going out to bars n clubs in my town since I was 19 n I'm 21 now... My problem is everyone in my town knows I'm transgender cause guys who hav hit on me I told right away n they told somebody n so forth like one guy last night came up to me n said his brother told him I was a transgender n he wanted to make sure cause he said I don't look like one. Then the other day I was talking to a guy n he was really interested, but I didn't tell him I was transgender at all and wen i was bout to leave he was pretty much begging me to stay, I still left tho, but before I left I gave him my number n he even txted me so I had his number n he told me to txt him later so I did n he never responded so that makes me think that someone told him that I'm transgender after I left. I just don't know Wat to do.... I use to like being open bout it but now I'm regretting that cause I can't talk to guys without someone telling them.

Well, I'm quite a bit older than you and live in a somewhat small community that I have lived in for 20 years so everyone has seen me around before HRT. It's different for me because of my age and I don't care if people see me s trans. I understand it could be a problem for you being at the start of your dating experience and living in a small community. I don't know , but realistically without moving what option do you have at this point.

Im kind of in the same boat as you. I live in a small city where i am probably the first transwoman to have the courage to stay here to transition. I know a few but they all moved to a bigger city to be with other LGBT to make transition easier. I know one that came back after her transition when she was passing as a cis and she is totally blended in society.
In my opinion you are a woman and a gorgeous one. It might take some time but people will just forget about it as you are becoming the person you were meant to be. But sadly this is transwoman dating reality.. Even with SRS done it will be hard.. but you only need one person to love.

Secrets are really impossible to keep. Once someone finds out, everyone finds out, so it only takes one person.
Anyone who decides you are not worth their time because you're trans is missing out on someone terrific. I feel sorry for them.

I think for me, it would be a freeing experience... scary at first, but then the door is wide open :-\ :D
