Hi everyone

I transitioned outside of the UK but have lived here for some time.  I basically continued on my old regimen, but would like to make sure I get some liver function tests and also take advantage of what I pay my taxes for anyway...  Should I just tell my GP or do I have to go through some programme first?  I've been transitioned for a long time and have had all the surgeries, etc.  I do get cervical screening letters at the moment. LOL

I also live in the countryside...

I'm in the UK too. I would just tell my GP and it might be useful to tell them about your trans history as well.

Thanks.  I just wondered if there would potentially be a problem since I obviously didn't go through the same process as the girls native to the country.  Can't hurt to talk to the GP - hopefully they are using oestradiol hemihydrate now and not valerate.

A GP can't deny you a necessary health check up. I went to a private GIC and then went to my GP for a blood test and my prescription for T. Even though I didn't go the NHS route she couldn't deny giving me the health care I needed.
