Title: Log on banned via my moble phone - Spambot?

I tried to log on to Susan's on my mobile which I have done countless times and I got this message:

"Sorry Warlockmaker, you are banned from using this Forum!
Spambot
This ban is not set to expire"

How strange and yet I can access via my laptop?

Anyone know why this has happened?

We may have recently banned a spammer who uses an IP address in your range. I'll raise it with the admins.

Send me the ip address blocked on your phone by a pm.

I suspect I know.

We have blocked various staff members from the Thai surgeons' sites due to 'advertising'.

If it's on Tapatalk it happens to me periodically when trying to view the forum with a poor cellular signal.  If all else fails then reinstalling the app and logging in again fixes it.

My laptop access works just not mobile. Very strange....tried rebooting and still no luck. Wonder being in Thailand is the reason.....

If you get really stuck you could try a VPN on your phone and route it though another country.

Moving this to the FAQ area. Admins are already aware so I don't need to raise there attention. I will also take a look in the log related to your account and see if anything shows there. I suspect it still could be tapatalk or what was mentioned about those surgeons. Hugs

Going to have to pass this up to Susan. I have thing I could try but I have to go and you would need to be in direct contact for me to try something and see if it worked for you or not. I have tried it a couple of times and one time it fixed it. The other time it didn't change anything. Hugs

Your phone is using a greatly different IP address than your laptop. There was a ban on the range your cell phone is using and that ban has been lifted. If you still can't get in, try clearing the history on the cellphone and then retrying.
