Title: Need help choosing a binder
Post by: Josh11 on December 30, 2015, 02:48:43 PM
Hey
I'm a really skinny guy and my chesticles are pretty small but my shoulders are bigger than average so this has made it awkward to find the right size binder.
The first binder I got was a tri top in size small as this is what my measurements showed to be. I could not breath in this much. one night I went out in it and started getting a sharp pain in my shoulder, woke up the next morning and couldn't move my shoulder, had to get hospital treatment.
I then decided to try gc2b and I emailed them, the guy advised me to get a medium in the full length tank. This was awesome and first but after a while it loosened up and I now have a unimoob.
I need to choose another binder but I'm confused. I do not want to order from gc2b again because delivery was too long and the custom charges.
I was thinking of getting a medium in the tri top? What do you guys think

I apologize if this isn't in the right place

Try emailing Underworks and let them know the issue you had with the small. They may be able to recommend a more appropriate product.

I emailed them months ago and got no reply

Whatever I'll just use underworks one. As long as I'm flat I don't really care about pain

If you're in pain, then it's the wrong size. The only thing I can recommend is getting a medium. I recommended contacting them because they may be able to exchange it for you or tell you where you went wrong in sizing.

i only use binders from gc2b because i think their customer service team is quick and very active. their binders are also not so uncomfy like others and you see real results if you compare in pictures.
i haven't worn binder again in like years. i pass most of the time because i got a pretty small chest. just like you, my shoulders are a bit big too. i find it hard to choose between small or medium. i'm like it must be either too small or too big. lol.

i got my binder last time from them, but i must have gotten some weights and i'm thicker than i thought. so i exchanged for a bigger size during christmas time and new year eve. i thought i'd get a reply in like first week into January. but oh gosh they replied quickly during the holiday time. so i reordered as soon as the return passed their inspection and got my binder few days after.

i think all binders need to be hand wash and take care carefully. plus, they're clothes, just for special purposes, so they will get worn out after awhile.
i used to ask my mom to use some kind of materials to put in my tank tops. we went searching for the materials, they're not even the ones using in most binders. but just to cover my chest area and make sure no nipples showing. except it wasn't tight at all, so it could be slip out of the chest area if i move around too much. lol. but it worked. after awhile they got worn out. ever since i didn't use binder till now. lol.

i agree. if it makes you feel a bit painful in anywhere near the chest area, go for a bigger size. i feel like i don't wear it alone, but with other layers of clothing. so it's fine if it gets a bit loose. i actually prefer it that way for comfort.
