So I've heard that Medalie is no longer taking insurance and I'm heartbroken as I've known from the beginning that I wanted to get peri from him as his results are always stellar. But now, I'm not sure- he doesn't accept insurance so how would I pay for that? Anyone know any consistently good peri surgeons that do? Result pics?

Hi,
My recommendation would be Dr. Fischer in Baltimore, MD. She has been doing peri for decades and has great results. She's also willing to work with you to get the results you want (for me - I was right on the cusp of qualifying for peri, and she was willing to do it with some lateral incisions to remove more tissue if I wanted it - not everyone would have been willing to do it). I know she works with some insurers as well, though I am not sure which ones off the top of my head. There are tons of results for her on Transbucket.
I had DI with her and had a great experience. It's unfortunate that Medalie isn't working with insurance anymore, but that's what happens sometimes. There's no incentive in the existing system for them to take insurance.
