Hi everyone! You can call me M, and I've recently realized that I am FTM! I'm pre-everything currently, but I'm basically certain that I want hrt, top surgery, and bottom surgery...so pretty much everything, haha. I found Susan's Place a few years ago when I was first exploring transgender things, and I found it again while researching bottom surgery, so I decided to join!
I first realized that I was dysphoric at age 12, but didn't have the words for it. I proceeded knowing something was off until I was 14, when I finally found the trans community. At first I thought I was somewhere under the nonbinary umbrella, which is what I originally came out as, but as I've spent the last 2 1/2 years fighting with myself over identity, well...I've finally realized that I'm a boy. And just because I like some feminine things, doesn't make me any less of a boy either. I say, if a cis man can like it, want it, do it, then I should be able to too!
Anyway, my family is accepting, my insurance covers some aspects of transition, and I'm hoping to be able to start hrt by mid-June, around my 17th birthday.

I'm brand spankin' new myself, and your story ( aside from rules etc.) was the first I read. I love to hear of young people having supportive families, it warms my heart and gives me hope!
How exciting that you have done so much research and have found that the structure of what you need is there! Good job, man!
