Title: UK-Specific Name Change: Can I have two surnames?

Hello People,
NOTE: I know I could've posted this in the UK forum part but I feel like I've been harassing them over there a bit so here I am,
Anyways,
So eventually, I plan on getting a statutory declaration of name change, as you do,
But I've been considering getting two surnames,
My Mom is Venezuelan and you usually add the maternal surname after the paternal one,
So I wanted to get this done for family reasons or something.
My mom and obviously most Latin Americans have double surnames on their Latin American passports,
I know this isn't usual in the UK except when done with hyphens,
My question would be is it legally acceptable to have two surnames on UK passports / in general,
Mostly because I noticed the fields for these are Given Names and Surname, implying only one surname.
TLDNR: Would like to have two non-hyphened surnames on passport after my name change, is this legal in the UK?

They don't have double surnames. They have one surname. It just happens to be two or more words long.
Note: A UK passport though only allows a maximum of 30 characters in the surname field and hyphens will be changed to spaces.
