"A recent rally for Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders was interrupted by a heckler supporting Republican candidate Donald Trump. This heckler was carrying a sign that read, "Obama is as Christian as Bruce Jenner is a woman." Afterwards, my editor asked me if I thought that transgender people could become targets of Trump's ire the way Latinos and Muslims have been."

I will be moving to a different country if Trump is elected.
More to the point, Obama is Christian and Ms. Jenner is a woman... it's funny how in every self-identifying group there is always infighting. Someone's not Christian enough, not patriotic enought, not trans enough. It's kind of funny and sad at the same time. With all our differences we're all the same.

the sad thing is that these people are blind to the fact that dictators do the exact same thing in stating that the only true human is one of pure national origin. History seems somehow to have gotten lost in their minds. As an example the birther debate.

Trump has stated that gay marriage is not an issue for him. He has never to my knowledge said anything about trans. His supporters will try to push him in that direction though.
