Hi,

I just want to know about not depth, size but the diameter of dilators.

In sweden as I was told this meeting today with my Surgeon that our largest dilator is 30 mm in diameter. And I ask myself the question, isn't that to small?

I checked out a webpage regarding dilators and gender resignment surgery,

Acording to them there is 5 different sizes of dilators or stents. Where the largest is 38mm .

What do you think?

And what is your experience with dilators?

35mm in my case - Amielle Comfort dilators

I have the Soul Source set, which is fairly typical. The largest is 38mm.

I can't say I'm an expert, but I'd be looking for another surgeon. That is far too small for the largest.

As per doctors orders, I went to a dirty book store and purchased a dilator that was the same diameter I was before surgery. My surgeon approve dilator is about 1.5 inches in diameter or 38mm. As my surgery was penile inversion, there is a limit to how much the skin should be stretched. If you have grafts, the numbers may be different.

My largest is 40mm. I use the 35mm and the 40mm yet. We get dilators from Dr. Schaff which we should use after surgery.

I meet two men with a diameter of approx 60mm. That is way too large for me.

I should point out, we don't choose surgeons in Sweden. It's a part of its trans programme , and everyone here gets the same dilators.

I'm also 1 month post op so, yeah that's the size n diameter I used today n tonight .

i'm on the green one 1 3/8 inches diameter or 35mm, but planning on moving to orange in a few weeks which is 1 and half inches diameter and 38mm.

You can always order some bigger ones. 30mm I don't think will be enough for a lot of situations.

I use 38mm and guys out there bigger than that

I´m one year post op, both srs and ba, Gennaro was also my surguen and I got the same Dilators you have.
I have never used any other dilators, and I´m sexualy active, and there has been no problems at all!
I don´t really know how it works, but it does, becouse i have certanly have guys bigger than the largest dilator we recived. The only thing that was a bit tricky att first was to pass the "entry" but when its gets in, its all good.

I actually contacted the company that makes our dilators (the company is placed in UK) And they have them in aaall sizes, and you can order from them! :)
I never did, becuose as I said, it workes perfectly well  anyhow :D

It may be wise to talk to your surgeon about going to a larger size. Something like 38-40mm if you are intending penetrative intercourse.

As you're 1 month post-op, don't delay, as now is the best time to train the vagina while the scar tissue is relative young and pliable. The older scar tissue becomes, the less "elastic" it becomes.

Well its not only diameter its also wetness ... some use coconut oil as lube, they have an applicator ready and use the bathroom beforehand... use non latex condoms then.

And guys that large often already know. Rubbing on the outside might be possible then (and pleasurable for both).

Sadly, I don't think I'll ever be able to use a 1.5" (38 to 40mm) dilator. My surgeon said that I was built small. I'm 5'7, 132 pounds. By contrast, I know many girls who are over 6' tall and can accommodate much larger dilators. It just all depends on how we're built.

Some people have a small opening in the pelvis.
But you might try to dilate as good as possible, without hurting you.

And if its really not possible there are other ways.
Often guys know already.
There might be stimulation outside, and there might be anal, just use enough lube and take your time then.
Anal can also be very pleasurable if certain spots are stimulated, at the right angle.

The largest recommended diameter that my surgeon provided was 32 mm.  As I don't plan any male female sexual encounters that's  plenty big for me.
