Title: 1st injection help pls
Post by: Melanie ♡ on January 17, 2016, 08:09:54 PM
So I did the injection myself even tho I was super scared, and I am super proud, I know we can't discuss dosages here, but I wish we did, but I guess I'll just ask my doctor next if I made a mistake or not, anyhow... How am I supposed to do with the estrogen little bottle, like where do I keep it? Is anywhere okay? Do I need to put it in the fridge or something like that? also do I need to put the cap on it, or not? Because now I left it with the grey thingy, but it's holed now, so I probably need to put the cap back on? Right? Pls help lol

If in doubt do check with the doctor who prescribed them. Needs to be kept at room temp. Not to hot or cold. I don't put the cap back on mine because you have o wipe the bottle with a alcohol swab anyway. Hugs

The vial stays at room temp. The box will say how to store it.

You don't take off the cap. It's designed for the needle to go through it and "heals" itself once the needle is out.

Room temperature. I was told to just toss the cap. The hole shouldn't be big enough for anything to come out withou a syringe, but if you're worried about it I'd make sure it's standing upright on a flat surface.
