I was doing some journaling when I asked myself, ' how many other transsexual women want or wanted kids. I am 46 yrs. old now, but I remember when I was around 12 or 13 when I yearned to have a baby. I mean I wanted, of course a little later in my life, to be impregnated via a man, carry to term my baby and give birth and, of course, take care of her( him). I was wondering if anyone else has had the same feelings.

Sometimes I think it would have been nice to have a baby - whenever I see one I'm like "awwwww". But then they start crying or poop their nappies and I'm like "on second thoughts... no..."

Family and motherhood are very important to me. I would give anything to be pregnant and carry a child or three. Anything. I wouldn't even mind being a wife married to a man with kids and helping raise them as their stepmom. Who knows what is in my future.
I have 3 of my own kids and I love them to pieces.
The crying and dirty diapers are really minor. Care and feeding costs a ton but I don't care. I love them. Now they are at the age where they are testing the limits but I don't play around and they know that. So they know their limits. They love me very much.
Parenting can be very rewarding but it's not for everyone. You have to wear many hats! It's also not easy. You have to make some hard decisions and in most if not all cases your kids come first. You also lose a major part of your social life. I can't just go out as I please now. I have to worry about care for them. And I don't trust each and everyone to take care of them.
