Title: Facial hair not growing after one electrolysis session
Post by: Annaiyah on January 24, 2016, 02:02:21 PM
This actually is not as good as it sounds.

A couple of weeks ago, I had my first laser appointment and it was no joke! It was really painful! For that reason and the reason that their machine indefinitely went out of service I made the switch to electrolysis.

My first electrolysis session was this past Thursday (Jan 21). The main issue is that I shaved a few days before the technician summoned me to her practice. It did grow back but she told me it was barely long enough for her to work with.

The hairs were too short and she told me to let the hair grow a little longer so it'll be easier for her to work with. So for the first time in my life I actually want my facial hair to grow out but now it doesn't seem to be growing any longer than since I started electrolysis. My next appointment is on the first week of February and I'm a little worried as to what to do.

I was in my mid 20's when I started electro and I had two appointments a week so I would shave after each one. I was lucky in that my facial hair was brown and didn't show much but being older meant my hair grew faster and there was more of it. You are younger and you will have to determine how many days of growth will be required to get the required length.

I would suggest you add two days to the growth time and see if that's better. If it's still short, you many need to add another two days. I am glad that most of my facial hair was gone before I started cross living and all I needed was cleanup and eyebrows.
