I would suggest that you stop using the birth control pills. Many are low estrogen and the hormone mix may not produce much in the way of feminization. In addition, you are not a receiving a blocker drug which will help greatly in the transition process. You would be better off to seek out a gender therapist or possibly a LGBT who can connect you with an informed consent clinic. There you will be able to receive far more effective medication.
In addition, without proper medical monitoring, HRT can be dangerous. Some people require a very low dose while others may need a higher dose. Without the proper blood test, it's impossible for you to know if the medication you are taking is useless or dangerous to you.
