Two University Of Oregon Fraternities Begin Accepting Transgender Men

"Delta Upsilon voted to pass the bylaw when they were chartered as a full-fledged fraternity on campus in October 2015.
"As far as we know, we're the first chapter in the fraternity's history to do that," Delta Upsilon's president, Spencer Johnson, told BuzzFeed News on Friday. "

I live for the day that this is not any kind of news. The fact that a fraternity accepts trans men rates as news or anything unusual is a testament to the crushing bigotry we still all live with.

I don't understand, do other fraternities normally deny transmen? Or are they just the first ones to officially address it? This is nice to know though, as I've been looking at the U of O to go to school.
