Title: Hello All
Post by: Rylie M on February 21, 2016, 10:06:17 PM
Hello I prefer at least on forums to go by Rylie im 34 live in worcester county, mass I was born male have been living my life as one for 34 years but around the age of 14 I started "borrowing" my sisters clothes. It started out as something sexual however i've always felt like something missing. I cannot say for sure if I can define myself as simply a cder or something more as of yet im just looking into this right now.

Due to my family particularly my father even if transitioning is something I need to do I may not be willing to. I've witnessed first hand how he feels with my sisters husband coming out and now living full time as a woman and a few transgenders that have had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting him or just passing by us while we were working together or hanging out. We don't have a close relationship never have but I don't want to ever alienate him hes still my father and happily married to my mother I love him to death. She on the other hand i'm very close with I used to go to work with her growing up all the time also used to help her cook/clean. In short were best friends and I have no doubt she would support me the whole way. Im sure my brother and sister would to there as tolerant of others if not more so than me.

For as long as I can remember I have always wished I could become a woman but the major part of my decision will have to wait awhile yet beside him I haven't dressed up since just before I entered the service. I'm just getting back into it now with buying my first forms in about 12 hours and shortly after those come in going bra hunting. If I truly feel like after a few months of dressing up to a yr or more and can find the courage to tell my family then I will start seeking help. I may start taking to a therapist and or psychologist plus attend my local pflag group before telling but not before I take the first giant step on my own towards changing my body.

Until then I look forward to learning more about what happens from the best source namily you guys/girls. I have already researched a few thing like my local pflag support group infact my research brought me here when I googled if mass health covers everything and if not what don't it. I've signed up on 3 other boards as well that support cders, and transgenders and they've already been immensely helpful in teaching me things about this.
