To this ignorant <Not Permitted>:
"Gender confused MEN are disproportionately more prone to diddle minors. This is not a "stereotypical assumption", this is a statistical analysis of the creeps that are found on various sex offenders public postings."

People like that are too stupid to talk to. If you try you'll automatically lose 20 IQ points.

I'm curious about this "statistical analysis"... Maybe ask to see it and then go from there?
Unfortunately, I doubt this is a simple misunderstanding of data. I don't have much faith in the introspective and analytical abilities of someone who would post such a thing. If your goal is to change their mind, I'm afraid that that might not be possible.

For this to be a statistical analysis the sample size needs to be statistically significant.
I personal find it unlikely that a statistically significant sample of sexual offenders were involved in this study. Sexual offenders usually value their privacy and to have a statistically significant sample the proportion of the population would need to be known.
Good luck

Unless you have some pressing reason to interact with this person, you would probably be best served by just walking away. A person who can conjure crap like that is unlikely to be swayed by logic.

As a child who was violated, and a transgender.
I'm almost certain that whoever said that was the kind of monster that tried to touch ME.
Glad those ************ got sent to prison.
Hope they got a really FRIENDLY roommate.

tell him:
'You're obviously misquoting in a derogatory way that I'm sure was not in any scientific study. No study would use terms like "Gender confused" or "diddle". But the key problem is that the studies your referring to would have used words like "prone to have been" rather then "prone to", by changing the words like you did you've completely reversed the meaning. '

Bigots have been accusing gay men of being pedophiles for a long time, there's no rhyme or reason with hate. FtM/trans men don't even register to them.
