Title: Changing/updating non government documents? Is there a guide?

I have been using the following guide to prepare for the government/legal name and gender change here in California.
http://transgenderlawcenter.org/issues/id
Yet, I have found ZERO information about updating:
Bank Accounts
Vehicle Titles
Loans
Credit Reports
Investments
Also... I have a fantastic credit score right now ~800, should I be concerned about this being negatively impacted when I attempt to update all these records?

Changing your name in all these places can be a pain as you have to out yourself to strangers to do it, most of the people I have dealt with have been nice enough though.
With my bank account I changed names the day I got court decree they made a copy of it and made the changes, woman that helped me was very friendly and easy to talk with.
Home loan I called them and just told them what I wanted to do, I emailed them copies of court decree and they changed it.
Car loan with a credit union wanted to see my new drivers license, didn't have it yet so went back the next week with it. About 2 weeks later I got new payment book with my name on it.
I read that credit reports will start using the new name as they are tied to your SSN, not sure of this because all the reports I can see are prior to the change.
House deed you need to file a quick claim deed transferring title to your new name, I haven't done this yet so not much else to say about it.
Home owners insurance requires deed be changed to update, so again not done yet.

None of those will require a gender update.
For the bank, vehicle titles/registration, and investments - You'll need to take in a copy of your name change court order. Just tell them you need to update the name on your account/vehicle registration. You'll have to sign some documents, and then you're done.
For the credit reporting institutions, send a certified copy of your name change court order to each. It takes some time to update, and they said both of my names will probably appear on it for at least a year.
And no, will not affect your credit score. I applied to move into a new housing complex last summer maybe 6 months after updating everything, and there were no issues. I did have to provide them with the old name though.
