Hey guys. I'm finally getting ready to start the hysterectomy process. I have one therapist ready to write my letter and I'm sure I can get another in a heartbeat.
My real question is this: Does anyone here have any experience with any surgeon in the NYC area for this?
I have done a little research and have come up with Dr. Nancy Roberson Jasper who has good reviews, but have no idea if she's had any FTM experience. Also, I have Anthem BCBS if that makes a difference. I want to finally get this done and then start my metaoidoplasty process. I look forward to any advice or recommendations you can offer!

I'd call any LGBTQ clinics you have in the area (I know there are quite a few in NYC) and ask who they typically refer to for hysterectomies. That was what I did here in DC, and was very happy with who they directed me to.

FTMax, that is a great idea. Also if there are any support groups where you can ask. I know it helps with insurance when you have some type of medical condition to get a hyster covered.
