Christine,

Welcome to Susan's,

If you have not looked at them yet, I am including some links. They have welcome information and the rules of the site. Please do take a moment if you have not yet:

Hello and welcome  :)

Here are some resources that could help:

https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,197523.msg1756901.html#msg1756901

You might translate them to your language, for example with translate.google.com .

Some people say its easier if you can talk about things that really move you deeply ... people might be more understanding then ...
if that is not the case yet you might try to work on that level ...

Well you are not the only one ... and being transgender is more and more accepted ...
people begin to understand its normal people with needs and cravings like everyone else ...

*hugs*

Lol fingers crossed  :)

Give it some time ...
try a few things ... with makeup and hairstyle ...
and people on the passing thread will give you a few hints :)

And maybe one day you come to make your own elf costume ...
there are sewing instructions by role play groups which are not that difficult  :)

Yes a home designed elf costume :) Great  :)

Well from your avatar picture you already pass well :)

There are a few threads on voice training ... that could help ...
imo most important is consistency, a few minutes every day for weeks ...
don't overstrain your voice, just stop then ...
but consistent training helps train the muscles that keep the larynx in a higher position ...
many people say voice training is the hardest thing.

Aw thanks, I hope so,... I don't always feel confident, i went out dreesed first time for my psycho apointement! It was nerve racking, but was running late due to trafic, so I hadn't time to worry about being nervous, it was great!
Yes my voice is disasterous, but I am working on it!
Definitly considering maybe coaching, but for now I work hard on the holding the Larynx up, im good at that now, i do it all the time.
Thanks again :) Christine

The ideal setup for the first time :)
So you had no time to overthink, and could be just yourself  :)

Here are some hints concerning voice:
https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,190936.msg1701516.html#msg1701516

Imo it comes down to persistent training ...
a few minutes a day for a few weeks or months ...
just don't overstrain the voice, stop then ...

Trying a few variations like trying to be more breathy and using much more going up and down with intonation within words can also be helpful. And recording it, and listening to results and variations for the effect.

Just be persistent, others have done it too :)
