Title: Boys toilet
Post by: Just_M on March 22, 2016, 10:13:46 PM
Hi guys! It's been a while! I'm still trying to sort myself out. I'm trying to see how I feel when doing things that are typically 'male'.
I just wanted to share this experience, something that happened today. I was at uni, it is a small building and it was quite late, it was rather empty. I went to girls' toilet and it was locked. Then I realized it was a one-person toilet. Boys bathroom was empty and surprisingly clean, so... I used it! I didn't feel nervous at all, or anxious. I did think what may people think if they saw me coming out from a boy's room, although I didn't care much about that. And I wasn't in a rush, I could have waited. But I don't know, I just wanted to give it a try! And it was nice! But again, I got a little bit freaked out because men usually don't wash their hands and touch everything with their dirty hands......!
Hopefully I survived and I'm still processing what I did. What do you guys think?

Congratulations on taking that step. I remember my first time using the women's toilets. I was a nervous wreck thinking that I was going to get screamed and yelled at but all I got was a few odd looks. The more I went into the women's toilets from then on became less awkward and it became an elating experience.

Heh, the first time I used the guy's restroom at my school I scurried in and out like I was worried about being caught. But it got easier and easier each time I did it. Bathrooms elsewhere, still a little nerve-wracking sometimes, but I'm getting there. :)

Glad you took that first step.

Well done! It takes a lot of bravery to do that, but it does get easier with time. ;D

As for them being 'surprisingly clean': having used both facilities in all sorts of locations, I've found that the men's toilets tend to be much cleaner and more pleasant to use than the ladies'. Everyone thinks that ladies are naturally cleaner, but there are two major things that happen in the ladies' loos that don't tend to happen often (if at all) in the men's: blood all over the place; and small children making a mess of the toilets and their lazy parents not cleaning up after them. I've wiped a lot more mess off of the seats of the ladies' loos than the gents, that's for sure.

Good for you! Men's rooms generally smell worse (cause our pee just smells worse) but they're often cleaner than women's rooms. At least IMO. As others said, it gets easier the more you use the men's until it's just normal.

Most men don't pay attention anyways. When I started using the men's room I just kept my eyes forward and made no eye contact with any other guys that were in there and headed for the stalls. If the stalls were full I used my STP successfully and had no problems or strange looks. Guys can be pretty gross though especially if you stop at a rest area off the high way.
