This is a copy of the speech that I gave to the 2016 class of Leadership Clarksville during their Religion and Social Diversity Day on Thursday, March 17th , 2016.
Leadership Clarksville is a program that works to educate up and coming leaders on our community. The program was founded in 1987 by Dee Boaz, then the editor of the Leaf-Chronicle, and Jim Mann who was the president of First Federal Savings Bank. The program is under the able leadership of Mrs. Carole Dorris
One more note this speech contains a section on the Bathroom bill that was under consideration in the Tennessee Legislature, it has since been defeated for this term, though it may return in a future session.
