Sorry, but may I ask that why can't I select the MtF option in my group membership tab. Like it doesn't give me anything to click on like the other tabs.
P.s. It doesn't even come up on current membergroups.
Love, Sarina!

You need to go to Profile>Modify Profile>group membership and request membership of the group you wish to become a member of. Cindy will need to approve your membership so it could take place within a day or it might take a few depending on her schedule.

The MTF group membership does not display an option to join or request membership like the other groups.

What is the purpose of a group membership? Is there something you can only see/do if you are a member?

Some group memberships are only for display purposes. Others like subscriber and staff membership open up parts of the board that are hidden to others. I am a member of forum staff and news so I can work both of those areas. I can't see WIKI, Chat or Links because I am not a member. Administrators have access to all parts of the site as well as some additional buttons to press that even I don't have access to.

You can set it to notify you of topics in that area. I can just add you to the MTF group by changing your profile setting. One moment. Hugs

Group memberships are for people who 'qualify' for a particular group, such as post op etc. It allows people to discuss their issues in relation to that topic. Some groups open when people reach 15 posts, some if you donate/subscribe. Others if you wish to be a member of them and can tell me why, it isn't difficult I just need to know why.
For others such as MtF you cannot see FtM groups for example unless you are a GM or Admin.

I guess I don't know what I'm missing. So the post-op group for example, since I'm not a member, I can't see it at all and can't even tell it exists?

You should see it in the Forum listings. Just as you can see FtM in the listing.

This is the issue. There is nothing to select for the mtf group.

The issue has been corrected so you may request membership to a group through Profile>Account settings> show additional groups.
