Title: Can I visit Egypt if I'm trans?
Post by: zyk25 on March 28, 2016, 08:29:19 PM
Hi all, I applied for a volunteering project in Egypt. I've heard of stories of trans people not being let in through immigration in Dubai, and since Egypt is also a predominantly Islamic country, I was wondering if I would run into the same problem. I am FTM and have started T, but my gender marker has not been changed on my legal documents.

If anyone who has visited Egypt or is from Egypt can help me, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

I wouldn't. Especially if your documents don't align.
