I need to change the gender on my passport but I have a lot of legal and financial documents that is under my name. I have no issues with keeping my male names on my passport and Hong Kong ID card, drivers license, club memberships etc. So after a short consideration I will change my gender only. Thus no change in signature and my ID only needs one little adaptation FEMALE
People that know me on this forum know that I have no hang ups and proud that I am tg. I have zero problem passing in looks, voice and mannerisms but I choose to inform people of who I am. I have never have been misgendered, except over the phone where, at time, the male on the phone, starts treating me as a second class female. Its not the voice but my aggressive attitude that suddenly they start calling me sir....Or they look up my details and start calling me sir.....what a change in how I am treated
I live in Bangkok now and Thai TGs also have male IDs so I feel comfortable..... but I am called by my female name...My male name is Robert/Bob but I am called Bobbi or Roberta, can't wait for genderless IDs.

Good on ya! :) Until we have equal rights to just be ourselves, it's going to take more out and proud people like us to turn the tide.
