First off you want to make sure your getting enough fluids and that your taking in enough, but to much of your electrolytes especially when on Spiro. As far as the weakness, it should go away soon for you. Your body is switching what it is powered by and it will take a little time for your body to adjust. Hugs

I've not ever heard anyone mention pain before (aside from itchy or tender boobs), when I started hrt it was the best my body had ever felt

I there any possibility you live in an area where you could be exposed to Lyme disease? There are a few other things but lyme tends to be missed by the doctors because it can look like the flue.

I'm a little concerned that you should have these reactions to HRT. I can only speak for myself and what others have written on this forum and it is not normal. I had some heat control issues initially and my nipples got sensitive but felt wonderful. If this continues then I suggest you get a second opinion from another doctor ...like Dena says it might be something else.

I'd be seeing a doctor if it goes on much longer. Just because these issues happened at the same time you started taking the HRT it doesn't mean it is being caused by the HRT, something else may be behind it and it would be good to rule that out. Hope you feel better soon!

I recommend gatorade and if you live off of caffiene like I did, you may want to try cutting that out until you see your doctor. I was having severe panic attacks and my wrists hurt to the point were it was difficult to type at work. I cut the caffiene and the panic attacks went away and my wrist was due to a change in my thyroid meds.
Definately keep your doctor informed.

When you're drinking that much water and on a diuretic you're flushing everything out of your system at a rapid rate. Make sure you're getting enough salt, and I was recommended (by a family member, not a doctor) to try magnesium. Dunno if it's that or I'm getting used the way my muscles work now, but I don't feel so completely weak as I did a few months ago.

my 1st two weeks on HRT, I was feeling quite weird, then I tried 1/2 a teaspoon of salt and I really felt relief. Then I started eating much more salt. And I was drinking 4 liters of water (that's like one gallon), and my doctor said: oh no! too much water, two liters at the most.
