Title: Skin Chafing

Does anyone else get skin chafing in the armpits from wearing a sports bra/binding? I'm on the heavier side but I never had this problem when wearing regular bras so I'm thinking the sports bra must be pushing my skin together more in that area. It's getting warmer here too so I'm worried that will make things worse. My skin's already red and a bit painful. Any tips on how to prevent or treat this? I want to start binding more but I'm afraid that'll make things worse :(

I did, especially with new binders. You just have to break in the fabric, or wear a different size.

That's a good idea. Thanks, Cheryl!

This doesn't seem to be the fabric rubbing against my skin though? It's more that it seems to push my breast tissue up against my arms and the skin there rubs together. Sigh. I guess I will have to see if it gets better or worse over time.
