Good evening , I am six weeks post op , I received  penile inversion  , I'm currently using my blue and Aqua green dialator ... I started using my aqua green dialator at about 3 weeks post op the first fweeks there wasnt difficulty getting it in , but currently as I've started to heal  I've been experiencing a lot of pain when using the aqua , it takes forever to get it in , I'm wondering has any one just went back size for a while and then came back to the larger one ?  I'm considering giving the aqua a rest and back to just  my blue dialator for maybe a week or so , then return back to the aqua ?
( my dialators are soul source )

The general consensus are that depth is harder to maintain than girth. Try using the blue one first to loosen up before green. If it is too painful maybe you can scale back to blue and try again slowly. Just try to maintain the depth as best as you can.

Welcome to Susan's Place. This is a question you need to ask your doctor. I would be very careful at this stage because any loss will be harder to regain. The nerves may be reconnecting and it's also possible you have scar tissue or granulation that may need treating. You might want to have a local doctor take a peek to make sure everything is healing correctly.

Brassard's advice, at any rate, is to do exactly that : "If you have difficulties with a bigger size dilator, wait before you are comfortable with this one before using a bigger size.  You can go back to a smaller size and increase the frequency for a few days."

Width is a question of stretching, and can be regained; lost depth cannot always be recovered, so that's the priority. Which means that if it's a choice between maintaining depth with a narrower dilator and risking depth because the larger one won't go in, it's wise to drop down to the narrower dilator for a bit.

As always, your surgeon's own advice takes precedence over any suggestions from the internet, but presumably if you had a clear answer from the surgeon right now you wouldn't be asking.

Thank you ladies I actually just came from a follow up , I did have granulation and was treated with silver nitrate , which seems to be making everything even more painful ....one of the nurses did say I could scale back and use the blue dialator , my doc said this is a possibly , but it seems she was so just like keep it up and it will get better , I've been using my aqua one for 3 weeks and it hasn't gotten better , I get my blue one in fine thou

I do use the blue before the green .... And it still kills me 😢 , I even take pain killers before hand

-some surgeons recomend to drink cranberry juice against infections
-some surgeons and gyns recommend to eat organic yoghurt to help restore healthy bacteria
-some gyns recommend using coconut oil after wounds are healed. it has some antiviral properties and small molecules which might help soften the tissue. If using condoms use non latex condoms then.

Talk it all through with your surgeon.
