Title: Evorel Patches 100
Post by: Jestwacked on April 22, 2016, 03:08:14 PM
Anyone had any experiences with these? I got pescribed them today and ordered them. Couple of questions. How did you find them, what is the best place to apply patches (hairless below the waist, does it count if you shave a spot?).

upper butt below your panty elastic, I tried one on my inner thigh, absolute nightmare, only on my third so not exactly an expert user but probably best to have a quick shave of the area not long before application but let it dry and settle first.

Congrats

Some people use additionally medical tape over them if they don't stick.

Very good to stick and very small are vivelle dot / estradot.

You might look for half weekly patches.
Weekly patches might give a low the last few days.

Good.

If possible you might try the estradot for once.
You could look up a picture, they are really small and most people say they stick really good.

*hugs*

I am not familiar with that brand but have been using patches for 3+ years.  I have found the vivelle dot to be the best of what I have tried and apply them twice a week.  Other brands I used were for a one week duration and came off after showering or a soak in the tub and stuck to my clothes....that was frustrating!

I like to think of them as my externally applied ovaries :D  Accordingly I place them well below my navel and just above my bush line.  They are readily covered by bikini panties.  When I want to give that area of skin a break, I apply them to my lateral butt cheeks.  Keeping them off my hips or panty line keeps them from adhering to my clothes or bed sheets too.  I consider patches to provide a very consistent blood level of hormones with perhaps less "cycling" than my girlfriends who use the pills.  Some folks swear by the injectable or implant route too.

Our results are difficult to compare to others on HRT with completely different health and genetic profiles to start with.  Researches, therefore, love to see identical twins they can find out more from.

Studies have shown absorption to be best when applied to buttocks. Discuss with doctor.
